Peru, the richest country in the world, invites you to enjoy “Peru Tours 8 Days”, and discover unforgettable experiences. In this tour, we begin with a tour of the city of Lima, full of colonial richness and named as the gastronomic capital of Latin America. We continue travelling towards the south of Peru, to Paracas-Ica, where we will enjoy its marine ecosystem and desert landscape. To complete our tour, we visit the city of Cusco, considered a magical city by many; just taking a stroll around the city, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu leave one imbued with its mysticism, culture, and tradition.
Day 01: Arrival to Lima
Welcome to the City of Kings.
Arrival. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Lima and briefing.
Sand and sea in the south of Peru
Early in the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer to the bus station.
At 03:30hrs Departure by itinerary bus to Paracas.
Arrive in Paracas at 07.30 hrs. Meet and assist upon arrival. Around 08:00 hrs, you will be transferred to the dock in Paracas.
Tour to Ballestas Islands, visit this group of islands where you can observe many birds including pelicans, also you can find a dozen sea lions.
At 11:00 am., approximately, we will transfer to Ica to board our dune buggy. After about 20 minutes we will reach the desert area, we will go up and down on a series of large and small dunes with our buggy, feeling a lot of adrenaline. In the meantime, we will stop in the dunes, which offer the right conditions to practise sandboarding, for beginners and for professional athletes also. Our driver and guide will teach us in a safe way to practice this sport, so the participants can enjoy the ride. In this place, you can also appreciate the desert landscape, Huacachina oasis and we will make stops to take pictures. Furthermore, we will enjoy the sunset coming back to Ica. Transfer to your hotel in Paracas.
Conserve water, an element vital for life
Breakfast. Early, transfer from your hotel to the bus station, to board the itinerary bus to Lima, arriving Lima, you will be meet by our assistance guide, to assist you to transfer to your hotel.
We start our tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid” a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological centre built in the 4th century A.D. and considered a “sacred village” by the Incas; the Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
Then we continue by Lima colonial, we visit the historical centre of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the city hall, and the City Council Palace amongst others.
We will visit the MUSEUM OF THE BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA*, where we will admire the “Treasures of Peru” Collection, a fine selection of objects made of gold, ceramics, and textiles from different pre-Columbian cultures.
We will visit the monumental SAN FRANCISCO CONVENT, which displays the largest collection of religious art in America. Our highlight will be the visit to the underground vaults, known as “Catacumbas” or Catacombs. Of the CONTEMPORARY LIMA: We will visit traditional residential areas of Lima and Larcomar.

We continue by a charming tour through the water and the dancing lights, more than a dozen sources send water to the air, choreographed with music and light. The Magical Water Circuit (Circuito mágico del agua) is the newest attraction in the city, and tourists agree that it is surprisingly amazing. Check it out yourself. After a couple of hours, we head to a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner show. Transfer to your hotel.
In Cusco, you will find great moments, space and magnificence
At according time, pick up from your hotel and transfer to the Lima´s airport, flight to Cusco (doesn’t include), arrival to Cusco and transfer to your hotel in Cusco city.
Walking is the noblest action we can perform on this planet
At the agreed time, you will be picked up at your hotel in Lima and taken to the airport to catch your flight to Cusco. On arrival at Cusco airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Pm. Accompanied by a professional guide, we begin our walking tour of the streets of the imperial city by visiting the San Pedro typical market. This is where locals buy all the products necessary for their daily diet. Here you can buy essential items such as vegetables, potatoes, fruit, meat, spices, cereals, bread, handicrafts, etc. You can also find typical local dishes, and get to know a little of the city’s cuisine. After this enriching experience, we head to the Temple of the Sun, the “Qoricancha.” Here we can see detailed architecture still intact in the temple. Inside we can enter the temples dedicated to the moon, rainbow, stars, lightning, thunder, among others. Afterward, we will walk through the traditional streets of the city, each of which has a story to tell (so many myths and legends) until we reach a narrow street where we find the 12-sided stone, which today operates as a pedestrian museum. Here we can appreciate the great predominance of the culture through the stones. We then visit the area of the city known for typical crafts, the cradle of great craftsmen from the Inca times until today, with a long tradition of textiles, ceramics, metalwork, and other crafts. The Sacred Valley, since 5000 years ago….. connects with nature.
On a 10-hour tour, you will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning and head out on a drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit the archaeological site around Pisac and the picturesque Pisac market. This is the shopping paradise of the valley, where bartering is still practised. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and take a break for a lunch in a local restaurant in Urubamba.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Inca fortress and citadel at Ollantaytambo. The fortress was built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the jungle. Take a walk along the quaint streets of the town and get a good idea of what the strategic military, religious, and agricultural centre was like during the days of the Inca Empire.
On your way back to Cusco, time permitting, you’ll stop in the Andean village of Chinchero to visit the archaeological place. See the well-preserved wall in the main square and the colonial-era temple built on Inca foundations, with frescoes in the door.
You’ll return to Cusco at around 19:00. Transfer to your hotel or if you prefer close to the main square.
Machu Picchu, harmony between man and the earth
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning, we will pick you up from your hotel, and transfer you to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, arriving you will be meet by our representative, to assist you to board the bus to the entrance to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu declared a Natural and Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the best example of Incan architecture. Built-in the middle of a tropical mountain forest, the city appears to have been sculpted straight from the rocky slopes. Besides offering visitors a spectacular landscape, the site also exhibits important endemic biological diversity in flora and fauna. At the agreed time, you will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Train back to Cusco, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at selected hotel.
