Highlights

Where the Ucayali and the Marañon rivers meet and form the majestic Amazon river. Located 180 kilometers – 110 miles from the city of Iquitos. There starts the National Reserve Pacaya-Samiria. The Ecoexplorer Lodge is a rustic and natural construction on the edge of a beautiful lake near primary jungle. Private bungalows are lit at night with kerosene lamps, and sleep is protected with mosquito nets.

DAY 1: transfer to the city of Nauta- From there we will take the boat down the Marañon river to the Piranha Explorer Lodge. canoe ride to the "Anaconda Cocha" lake- lunch of typical jungle food, walk in the primary jungle.


DAY 2: Walk in the jungle to see Monkeys and wild life- motorboat excursion to the Marañon and Ucayali Rivers where the Amazon River is born and watch the gray and pink freshwater Dolphins. Transfer to iquitos airport.
