Peru Southwest 9 Days - 8 Nights (PER-001)

Day 1. Lima - Free day.
Welcome at the Lima´s airport. Transfer to your selected hotel. Free day.

Day 2. Lima - Cusco - City tour.
We’l give you a welcome at Cusco’s airport by our transfer and transport to your hotel (Coca tea courtesy). In the afternoon you'll have the city tour until 6:30 p.m. This tour includes the visit to the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral of the Cusco, the famous archeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, archeological sites of Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (worship place of water).

Day 3. Sacred Valley of the Incas.
After breakfast, about 9:00 a.m. you'll have a long day trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It includes the market and archaeological place of Pisaq, Andean towns of Calca and Urubamba and the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. We'll come Back to Cusco. overnight.

Day 4. Cusco - Machupicchu.
Early you will have your breakfast and transfer to the train station for a train trip to Machupicchu. Guided visit to the citadel approximately for about two hours in Machupicchu. Overnight.

Day 5. Machupicchu - Free Day.
We'll have a free day in Machupicchu to continue visiting the citadel by yourself. We suggest you to make the walk to Huayna Picchu or to have a thermal bath at the "Bath of the Inca" at Aguas Calientes. Around at 16:00 return by train to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 6. Cusco - Puno.
In the morning turistic bus towards Puno, on the route visit archaeological and typical places such us Pikillaqta, Andahuaylillas, Raqchi and Pukara. Arrive to Puno and transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 7. Uros and Amantani Islands.
Breakfast at the hotel, around 08:20 a.m we will go to the local port by bus and then we will take a motor boat that will take us to the floating islands of Uros, which habitants still live the way their ancestors did. After a 3 hours trip on boat, we will visit the Amantani Island, once upon there we will divided our group in little parts because we will spend the night with the local families. Food and typical andean music, prepared and performed by each local family.

Day 8. Amantani and Taquile Islands.
Breakfast, later we'll have a little trip to the next island of Taquile, we will walk around the ruins, and early in the afternoon we will depart to Puno. At our arrival, transfer to our hotel.

Day 9. Puno - Lima - Flight back home.
Brakfast, and transfer to the Airport or Bus Station for your trip back to Lima or your next destination.
