At the Museum of Santuarios Andinos you may meet JuanitaThe Ice Girl, a well preserve mummy, found high into the Andean glaciers. Its Plaza de Armas is one of the most beautiful of Peru, beautifully laid-out with palm trees and gardens, surrounded by arcaded buildings in colonial style, including the gorgeous Cathedral.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival to Arequipa
Reception at airport and transfer to the hotel. Free day.
Day 02: City tour and Campiña
Visit to the city: Convent of Santa Catalina, Main Square, Cathedral, Church and Convent of Compañia de Jesús (Cúpula de San Ignacio), Church of San Francisco, etc., by afternoon visit to the Rural Fields, balcony of Sachaca, Tingo lagoon, mansion of the Founder, Sabandia Mill, balcony of Yanahuara and Chilina retreat. Return to the hotel.
Day 03: Transfer out
After breakfast, transfer to Arequipas airport for your retun flight to Lima.
