    August is winter in Lima. A very thin drizzle is common, especially at night, so the weather in the city is cold and Damp. There can be windy days, but never too many. (Don’t forget to bring warm clothes.) The sierra has more sunny weather and less rain than in the rest of the year, while in rain forest the heat and tropical rain does not stop.
