Our representatives will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley and take you to the Patabamba community where we will receive a warm welcome and a breakfast of local produce. After this, we will start our hike to the archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo.
En route we can enjoy magnificent views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We can also see a diversity of plants, many of which were, and still are, used as natural medicines. Mid-morning we will enjoy a traditional snack. During the morning we will also see parts of the Inca Trail, or “Q´apac Nan”.
In the town of Pukamarca we will take a short break to enjoy the box lunch prepared by our sister community Patabamba, then continue to the archaeological remains of Huchuy Qosqo, legacy of the Incas. On the way we will see the Andean flora and fauna. Finally, we descend to the community of Lamay, where we meet our transport to take us back to Cusco.
