Ballestas Islands
Ballestas Islands.
A group of small islands, shaped by wind and water, that shelter an enormous sea lion and seabird rookery. They are located approximately 1 hours, 30 minutes from the coast and are protected by the Fertilizer Division of Pesca Perú.Excursions here can be organized from the Paracas bay hotels or from the El Chaco beach, they take approximately 4 to 5 hours (round trip).
Warm clothing and sun block are recommended; overnight stays not allowed.
